No, you can't really increase potency. Either the chemicals are there(THC-acid), and it'll decarboxylate... or it's not... and it's not going to ever happen, because it's not there to begin with.

Basically the same question reiterated... again, no, you can't.

The opposite is the point of curing, slightly less potency for a much better smoke. That's the main reason to cure, good smoke. It also helps the THC-acid break down, but so does burning it. And when it's the right dryness, boy does it burn optimally for THC-acid breakdown.
