Boom Whomp.... Don't sweat preflowers. In the big scheme of things, they don't matter. Neither does colors of pistils during bloom, the key to knowing when to harvest is explained in the attached pics. Judge when to make the cut, after examining your trichromes.

Radio Shack sells a nifty little pocket magnifier / microscope for like $ 15 that makes this easy.
