There has never been a greater cultural, media or political push to re-legalize cannabis than right now.
With more and more states decriminalizing
marijuana and mountain of studies and personal experience showing marijuanas positive effects. One indication of this was the reintroduction last Thursday, by U.S. Representatives Barney Frank (D-MA) and Ron Paul (R-TX) (I know a weird combination), of a cannabis decriminalization bill that NORML helped to write and champion for introduction in the 111th Congress.
We need to keep this momentum going and continue the share of honest information and ideas about
marijuana. Which is why I would encourage everyone to think about coming to NORML's 38th annual national conference from September 24-26 in San Francisco. It is the nation's largest pro-cannabis law reform conference. Discussions are going to range all over from
marijuana and athleticism to parenting, the effects legalization would have, and an entire day dedicated to medical
marijuana.
