Once you have the paperwork signed by the Dr you are legal. Most if not all dispensaries will let you get meds with only the application in hand. Hopefully you kept a copy for yourself.
To receive the actual card is taking about 30-35 days. The law states that if you don't receive anything from the state within 35 days, you are considered legal until otherwise notified.
