This isn't drug related, but the forum said anything law related and you guys seem to know the law well and I didn't know where else to go.
My Nephew got into alittle trouble when he was 16 (at the time turning 17 in 3 months.) He got popped with three Felony 2's and was incarcerated in JDC for 1 month. After getting out he was placed on House Arrest for 4 Months with the ankle bracelet, he later went to court and was given a deal, Probation I think intensive because he was on probation already before and was just let off... I Know..., Community Service, Felony Classes and Youth Center hanging over his head. He was a first time offender for this type of thing so they didn't go to hard on him, I'd say he got off easy.
Anyways after going to court he had to move with his mother out of the city he was charged in. He told his probation officer he was reassigned to for the time being (He wasn't actually placed back on probation yet), and he told him it'd be fine he would just have to go to court in the new county. After 2-3 months passing Court Papers were served at my Mothers house (His grandma) and they were returned and she was told they would be served at his address. But they never were. He put it off for about a 7 months, I know he should have called in to get the date but he never did.
He will be turning 18 at the end of this month, June. What will happen with the case? Hes stayed out of trouble since hes been out, will this have an effect? Could he be retried as an adult? Probably not but im not sure. Any help would be great, sorry so long. Hes freaking out a lil...
Also when he goes to get a job will the employer be able to see the Felonies? I.E Will they be transfered over to his adult records?
