Oddly enough, I stopped into the hydro store the other day and the AN rep was there. I was introduced to the rep by the store owner as "The only guy in the world who has failed when using AN nutes." Now if that wasn't rude, I don't know what rude is! Anyway, I asked the rep why AN mislabels the ppm on their labels. He asked me what I was talking about. So I told him that I just started a new cycle and was vegging with AN Bloom part A&B. At the amount I used, the label said my ppms should be right at 800 ... and the actual reading came out to be 1280. He said that was impossible. So, I asked the store owner (who uses AN) if he had any opened A&B Bloom. He got the opened bottles and we drew some water from his RO unit. BWAaaa! Came right out to 1280 ppm. Lesson learned here guys is ... if you are going to fall for the AN hype, reduce the suggested amounts on the labels by 1/3.
