first grow (1plant)almost busted!..whadayathink?

This is my first season growing (one plant out of 3 was female)..anyway,I was around the back working on my car when I heard a noise,looked up and saw a cop walking thru my side gate!!!...I met him half way...turns out my house alarm (silent)had somehow triggered without being set!! The one time in a million I didn't have my cell with me(the alarm people call me first before the cops)...cop said they get a lot of these false alarms during hot weather.scared the shit out of me!...If I wasn't home he prolly would have walked around the house and found the plant!!
So I've been thinking next year (with more plants) I'll get some of those plastic red peppers and hang them from the branches for camo...Anyone ever do this?

I cloned this female for winter growing in an undercounter setup...just using shit I already had
