I was wondering the same, albiet I'am from B.C. I did do some research and found a list of criteria one has to meet.
I myself do not fall into these categories i.e severe epelepsy, HIV, cancer, Spinal cord injuries, etc.

I do however suffer from severe disc degeneration of the L-5-S1 disc and am schedualed for a fusion next year. I have lived with this condition as well as arthritis it my spine for over 10 years dealing with the pain through pharma meds and I am sick of the side effects from such strong pain meds. I am in my late 20s and have come to the conclusion that i don't want surgery due to this invasive procedure my specialist wants to perform.

I have begun substituting my pain meds for a little bit of pot and have found it to be one of the most benificial medicines for my condition period.
I find it appaling that C-15 has passed therfore I too am wondering wether i would meet the criteria for MJ med.
