i have 6 and i use 18 bulbs but i dont think i really need that many and what do u mean when u reach the germination stage thats the first stage. if u have the money and dont mind paying for the power. u get cant use a MH for the germ and veg stage but then u wanna swap over to an hps which is expensive. so if u want to use cfls use cfls but u gotta get to the right bulbs read this tutorial tells u all bout it.
