Your best bet is to register as a primary caregiver, and grow up to the maximum allowance that your designations afford you... at that point you will also have to be distributing a portion of the product to your patients... Which is a totally new, and difficult task inherited by the fact that you need to get paid for the plants you produce, as they consume water, nutrients, electricity, time, space, and environment.
In other words, you're not going to just be able to find a job growing cannabis... You can create your own job in the industry, but demonstrated knowledge and ability always gets you much further than the naive excitement and misunderstanding of all that the job entails. I would recommend that if you truly see yourself breaking ground in this, you should first and foremost read up on EVERYTHING you can, and learn to differentiate the practice from the what works for you... Secondly, you need to experiment, and get good at what you plan to do. Get to the point where you know what you're doing, and you know the answers when problems come up, and you know the resolution before problems happen.
Don't just do the job, be the best at it...
Good luck bud.
