if im correct these brug's are a tree type plant.
i have seen at a glance on the interweb a brug that was kept in an ebb and flow type setup. the tree's main trunk was atleast by eye a good 4-10 inch thick circum.
from what i remember: the holding tank was placed under the very deep growing tray, the tray itself looked like it has upside down seedling trays in.
inside the growing tray this is around 1.5ft deep what looked like a latge 4 inch pot with a small startling in in a good 8 inch or more pot was the largest brug.
the growing medium i could not work out. picture was not very good, but it looked like a soil/husk based max and looked like puffed clay balls too.
i cant see why not a hydroponic setup a hempy bucket could be too much but the ebb and flow was said too have worked very well. i perosnaly would go with ebb and flow this way your root system is not submersed 24/7. i would start a water cutting get some roots onto the cutting via water culture, then plant up the water grown cutting into a ebb an flow system. start small and if all goes well for the first season's growth throw in a few more.
