Potatoes

I've got a 4x8 bed that is full of potatoes. I'm growing fingerlings in half (russian banana) and cream potatoes in the other half (german butterball). Does anyone have any experience growing fingerlings? I checked the butterballs and they are starting to produce tubers. They have been growing since April 20 (oh yeah baby). My fingerlings haven't started to produce tubers yet though. Any help is welcomed.
