Ambien is crap, in my opinion. Didnt help me sleep at all.

I've taken it all - Ambien, Lunesta, Rozerem. None of it makes me sleep.

I have tripped out on Lunesta, similar to you. I was lying awake and it was like the wall started moving toward me.

but yeah, it's all whack medication
