I concur, I've actually seen some well documented results of using cfl's the entire way through on this site, and it's what I'm pursuing right now with my plant. The debate rages on as to yield results but you have an hps for flower so I wouldn't even worry about it. CFL's will work fine on seedlings and clones both, they don't eat much electricity and they don't produce much heat either.
