all dispensaris take the paper doc recomendation thought they may call and veify status don know about doctors card but police want state issued card but u should be ok with recommendation and they can call and verify but depends on the cop but even then its only a ticket in cali so u go to ur court date with orignal doc recommedation all charges would be droped and meds returned
