Hey MT, I see no one has posted in this thread in some time (maybe I'm not supposed to?) but I must say that I built one of these little beauties exactly as you described and it is AWSOME! I have a small 2 plant scrog/bubblphonics so I do not need as many clones but sucess rate is better than 95% and do not have a clue. Cut from the bottoms of plants 3 weeks into flower, AN clonex and into the bubbles. Timer set to 15 minutes on 45 off.. timer also turnes on/off the standard heating pad 15/45. The whole tub and pump is inside a humidity dome. Sprayem once in a while 120w cfl hangin 2.5 feet above.

As I said, I grow scrog and this one comin up is gonna be a seed start (DP-masterkush). I put those babies into a glass of water an hour ago, should be cracked before tomorrow at this time. I understand the hastle of taking out males in a seed start scrog but I'm workin on that.
Can I use your cloner to germ these seeds directly in Hydroton?? I've cut a new top to the one gallon tub to accept 2inch net pots, I figure Hydrotonto almost the top, drop the cracked baby in, softly and coverd with more Hydroton. 15 on 60-90 +/- off should keepem wet. Will it work? I want to eliminate the RW cube start to try and stablize ph fluctuations.
My first grow was in the early 90's and I only had one book, it was talking starting the seeds in broken vinyl records and glass beeds. This will be my 3rd since then.. I took a break!??
I don't want to waste the seeds or the time.
