It depends on where exactly you live in the Bay Area. A google search will tell you, I think CalNorml has a page that shows by city/county. If it is not listed you default to the state minimum which is 12 immature, 6 mature, and posses no more than 8oz dried flowers. As I read the law, It is a total of 12 plants, with a max of six in flower...I believe there is an "or" not an "and" between the 12 and 6...but my Dr. says it is 12 veg and 6 flower...this is about what I do.

That being said...from memory...City of SF...25 plants...Oakland 64sqft of canopy indoors, 6 outdoors. again if your city/county does not have an agreement the default is the 12/6. My Doc says if the filthy swine do by chance visit your grow, they often just cull your garden to the 12/6 if you have a couple extra and write a citation...knock on wood...stay away piggies!
