One thing I would and will modify is that I have the "squirt hose" too high on the pots, soaking my RW cubes...

About half way up the pot should be sufficient...

Another thing that came about unplanned is the fact that my pump puts out more water than the drains will pass... ( I know I can drill more holes or make them bigger, just read on...)

I am using this feature, along with a timer, to actually flood the tray, as well as squirt on the root zone...

Tricky... if the timer fails to shut off, it WILL overflow...

Kinda like ebb/flow without the overflow.. scary...lol...

But the res is small and set that if it over flows, the water will PROBABLY, just go back to the res... I cut a couple of "V" notches on the sides, so the low spot on the tray wall is over the res...

I hope all that made sense...
