"Calvina Fay, the executive director of the Drug Free America Foundation, says Gettman, Miron and others fail to account for marijuana's adverse side effects, from lethargy to impaired driving to tendencies among weed smokers to try more-serious drugs. "Those who are using drugs are less productive than those who aren't," Fay said."All thats BS. Alcohol has adverse side effects but it's still legal. Weed's not a damn "gateway drug". Sure, I smoked it before I started poppin beans, but I also smoked cigarettes before I started poppin them, and there's no legal age to start smokin cigarrettes in GA. "Those who are using drugs are less productive than those who aren't"???? This REALLY depends on what drugs you're on. I could understand if u jus smoked sum good ass indica and u need to rest, but you can't tell me that somebody that hits a meth pipe a few times is gonna be less productive than somebody that doesn't do any drugs (i'm not saying that meth should be legal). And there are plenty of perfectly legal things that make you less productive when you use them. People that are against tha legalzation of weed jus need to smoke a blunt, hit a bong, do somethng that will open there eyes to the good things that weed can do for people.
