I don’t really agree with that. Individual beans can be purchased and if someone is only attempting a two plant grow to someone can purchase two seeds for around $5.00 to $6.00 each, feminized, and know what strain they are growing and know they will be getting females and have a much better chance of being able to research and find out what sort of nutes work best for the strain and on what schedule to feed.

If someone cannot afford $10.00 to $12.00 for two feminized seeds it is extremely likely they will not be able to afford all the other things they will need. Risking $10.00 to $12.00 is not much of a risk and if it is seen as a big risk to someone evidently they cannot afford to grow in the first place.

You cannot count on what you get from bagseed. You could have a good germ rate and you might get a 0% germ rate. Genetics can vary greatly and some seeds may not be fully viable and have very slow growth rates and various problems and the new grower can be led to believe that any and all possible problems from low germ rate to less that acceptable yield to low potency is all or mainly their fault. What they think they are learning could be what is not most important to be learned.

I think it is much better for someone to pick a strain that was once very popular and is proven but is no longer the flavor of the month or one that is proven but has never caught on with buyers in a large way so they are now inexpensive and purchase them to learn with.
