I lived in NY for 25 years and i believe they will never legalize marijuana there... New York has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and people try to make money any way they can, from bootlegging dvd's and music to selling dope. The state makes too much money off of tickets, court fees and the confincation of dealers profits, homes, and vehicles to ever legalize it there. Plus weed helps the dirty cops with their children's college funds.
