have concluded that the second hand smoke propoganda is designed to A) procure government funding for "health programs", and B) benefit big business and insurance companies who don't want to pay health care costs for actual smokers (which is silly, because if they ever actually did the math and figured out how much money smokers SAVE the system by keeling over early, they might start promoting smoking.)

The problem with your hypothesis, is the smokers don't just keel over, they run up zillions in medical bills trying to stay alive before they keel over, and the insurance companies are always trying to figure out a way to not pay. The government doesn't need an excuse to take taxes from your pay, look at the war, that is taking taxes from your pay, your kids pay and your grandkids pay, probably your great grandkids also. The Government is out of control, some of us know it, but don't know what we can do to stop it. If enough people refused to pay their taxes it would have an effect but as in this forum, you can hardly get any two people to agree on any one thing!
