There is a lot of interesting science behind this. There is an inventer that was featured on the Discovery Channel who's biological clock went back two years as his atomic clock (regular time, special clock; most accurate scientific way to keep time) showed a year had passed as a result of a combination of vitamins he was taking. There is also evidence that people who eat less actually age slower because there is a survival hormone released that makes mitosis (cell reproduction) occur at a much slower rate. I don't believe in evolution, but I do believe humans are getting closer to being able to alter ourselves however we want. I personally believe Jesus will come back before we get too far in our technology though. It is still interesting to think about the science. A guy who is immune to cold weather, a blind painter, a woman who sees sound, a non-autistic human calculator, and the man who wants to live forever.
