Heat – A/C temperatures can be changed by around two degrees to help save some electricity too.

Many electrical appliances will leak a small amount of electricity when not used so anything that can be unplugged because it is seldom used can be unplugged.

Tell your "friend" to only use lights in rooms he/they are in and then keep them to a minimum and to turn off as many lights as possible. Switching to CFL’s for lights in rooms will also help somewhat.

To beat thermal imaging tell your "friend" to use C-3 anti-detection film. C-3 is a specialized type of Mylar that exhibits the same properties as the 2mm thick Mylar, but in addition to reflecting approximately 92-97% of the light, it also is 90% infrared proof, making a grow room all but invisible to IR scanning. This can also be attached in the same manner as Foylon or Mylar, and the same caution should be used to avoid creating hotspots in the room.
Thanks for all your help. what do you mean exactly though by avoid creating hot spots in the room? and how would i prevent that?

Thanks again for all the other helpful tips
