You have to realize the forces at work here.The politicians who are voting on this issue, and similar issues are being payed by so many entities to vote against it.The Pharma companies alone probably spend close to a billion dollars a year making sure medical marijuana never survives.The only way to really beat this is to keep supporting pro-medical marijuana organizations through volunteering some of your time, and a little money.You need to protest as much as you can , write letters/email to members or congress telling them how medical MJ helps you or those close to you.

Sounds stupid but if we could get a few movie stars to where " green ribbons " to events like the acadamy awards, that would go an amazingly long way. The world-wide TV coverage of these stars explaining what the ribbons are and why they are wearing them.Politicians need to know ( or at least think ) that this issue is on the minds of MANY Americans , and they are FOR medical MJ, if not legalizing it altogether.

Spread the word and the love.Eventually the politicians will see themselves on the losing end of a popular issue, and will be forced to fall in line.
