No point using that thing. I use my crock pot. I always boil the butter in water and add the herb. Throw in the crock pot, let simmer all day. Throw it all in the fridge, I put it in overnight. The better will get hard on top of the water, and the herb will sink (most of it). Just collect the hardenend butter from the surface of the water, and you have your butter.
You need to use as much herb as you would amount of butter. Calculating is easy. Look on the back of a cake mix or brownie mix box, see how much butter/oil it calls for. Then based on that, and the amount you need to get high, just divide appropriated.
If you use an OZ of herb for your butter, that is generally 40-60 good strong hardcore brownies, so you would need enough butter to accomodate 2-3 boxes of brownies...
