You are missing the whole point Skunk. The real goal is to leave the world a better place from your efforts, no matter how trivial, than you came into. Not many can do that, so the goal is very hard. Maybe a Ghandi or a Jesus or even a Rockefellor or a mother Theresa, but the average joe has all he can do to survive. If you give comfort to another human being at some point in your life and refrain from doing damage to others, I'd say you've had a successful life. |
