Do you have any idea what it feels like to be completely alienated from things that are so important? The only politician that ever legitimately represented my beliefs gets called a nutjob and crazy, WITH NO EXPLANATION. Hes the only politician ive ever seen be so consistent and honest, Ron Paul of course, but he gets shot down by the box watching maniacs. You don't need a high IQ, just get off the poison and get off the television, even someone of below average intelligence will start to see what I see, which is BULLSHIT EVERYWHERE. And I mean EVERYWHERE man. Its very frustrating. Im more angry than anything else, Im very torn. One day I want to say FUCK IT ALL and continue where I left off 2 years ago trying to make myself wealthy, next day, im trying to wake people up, learn more, get the word out for events. Next day I realize if everything were perfect, itd be fucked up again in 50 years as soon as people "relaxed" back to the box. Man politics is about as pointless as getting rich. None of it means anything. I feel blank. what a waste of time

Other than that, the only answer to this question "why" is campaign speeches. Since Obama doesnt have much of a voting record or a relevent history, all you have is his speeches. Who can tell me what every president does with the promises they make to get your vote?

It must be so nice to be you. You certainly have a large disdain for your fellow Americans. Just the fact that they overcame the rascist curse this election should be something to celebrate. Yes, we are not all gifted with 120+ IQs, But you can bet your ass Obama is. The editor of the Harvard Law Review for Christs sake. This man is more qualified to be president than the last 6 presidents, especially the last one. Being able to think and make decisions based on logic, not think tank persuasion makes him the most intellectual president in quite a while. I agree, we have to wait and see, but I feel pretty confident he will make a lot of correct decisions. We'll begin to see when he starts announcing his cabinet. He already made one good choice, Joe Biden.
