Just like the title says. I've got a 400w MH/HPS lamp in a SupaNova air-coolable reflector w/ glass bottom. It has a 4" flange on one side of it which I will be running a air duct from the reflector to outside the closet, with an inline fan somewhere in between. Right now I have a 44CFM fan exhausting the hood, but temp's in the closet still reach 88-89*F when ambient temp's outside the closet are around 76*F. I read all these threads where people say their 400w's are 6" above their plants and the glass in their air-coolable hood is cool to the touch - well, mine sure isn't.

Do I just need to get a larger inline fan to exhaust the hood, or what?
