I don't think that there is a forum dedicated to that. Probably should be tho.

It's all subjective. What constitutes a "massive" grow with lots of light and heat to you?

I have 18 plants under 2000w (5 400 watt lights), and I aint sweating FLIR. I've bumped my power bill by $75 or $100, but I pay the bill on time, and I ain't stealing power, so I aint sweating the power company either.

Now if you have a small warehouse with 20 1K lights, you might be wise to do a "dead air space" insulation. Basically, build another room inside your room, leaving 3 or 4 inches between the existing walls and ceiling. That should take care of the FLIR. If you're REALLY worried about it, run a small A/C unit into that dead space. If anything, the room will show cooler to FLIR.
