The problem with the War in Iraq is that it is a War that we are undertaking not to defend ourselves, but a war that we undertook pro-actively. Of course, Saddam Hussein really was a sick demented bastard, and his son's were psychopaths that needed to be removed from party.

They had a history of gassing their own people. Iraq and Iran had engaged in a war with each other during the 1980's.

Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1991 (peace was never reached, the only thing signed was a cease fire, so there really was no need to redeclare war on Iraq. We were still at war with them.)

Me, personally, I think Saddam Hussein and his corrupt regime deserved it, and that our actions will make Iraq a better place. Once we stop playing grab ass and let our troops finish what they are being told to do.

And now you're pointing fingers again. I'm sure there are a lot of Democrats who think the same way about marijuana.

And there's probably a lot of Republicans who don't think marijuana should be illegal.

I can think of at least one, and that's myself... of course, I'm not a registered Republican, so I guess I don't count.

What about CC and ViRedd?
Registered Libertarian Party in 2000. That was my first and last party affiliation. I haven't renewed, so don't know if that expired.

I smoke weed every day.

I voted for Bush Jr. (second time around). First Presidential for me. I wouldn't change a thing.
