Seems to me that there should be a way of bringing in fresh O2 to the spray area's air, and an exit path as well.

I'm kinda curious about the benefit of adding a VERY small fan (computer CPU sized, maybe 25mm), pulling fresh air into the spray chamber. Could mount it on the end of a piece of plastic tubing to get it away from the water spray.

Perhaps a common fish tank air pump bringing in fresh air via the usual small tubing would be smart.

The exit path reasonably would be the holes where the plants enter the spray chamber.
