Krunkpot.... I water only once (during my watering week), and feed only once (during my fertilizing week) - in rotation.

If you water frequently, like every few days or daily, you will seriously stunt root development. Mary only throws out roots as far as it takes to bring in food & water. Frequent shallow waterings and/or feedings cause a small rootball, less draught resistance and numerous other problems.

If it's super hot where you live, then sometimes watering every two or three days is necessary - to keep the plant alive. If it's not super hot, where you live, keep to once a week.
