Review of Statutory Barriers to Public Access Information-
- (1) REVIEW OF STATUTES- As part of the report required under subsection (a)(3), the Archivist shall examine existing Federal statutes that allow Federal agencies, offices, or contractors to control, protect, or otherwise withhold information based on security concerns.
- (2) RECOMMENDATIONS- The report shall make recommendations on potential changes to the Federal statutes examined under paragraph (1) that would improve public access to information governed by such statutes.......................................... ........................... I pretty much saw this bill as a White house conditional policy bill with allowing more public access to white house shennanigans and making the white house post all contacts with "crooks" otherwise known as lobbiests. The absolute removal of lobbiests from the governmental system, I would view as a good thing. All you constitutionalists should be glad to see lobbying taken out of the frey. Where in the constitution did it mention lobbiests taking over the control of congress and the white house. I'm for 1 man-1 vote, not one lobbiest delivering thousands of votes, Or a huge campaign contribution, whether it's a union lobbiest or a Pharma lobbiest.
