It's not too late to start. I'm using 2 Tbsp per gallon. Dissolve it in very hot water then mix with the rest of the gallon. Shake vigorously. The water that is Let it get to room temperature before use.

I've read here where it is advisable to start after 4 weeks flower. I started around 6 and I've seen impressive results.
