We have constructed a new micro grow box. It is a steel frame (welded) walls of 1/4" bathroom paneling. It consists of two side by side compartments 17"x20"x34" (34 tall) the compartments are separated by a removable mylar wall, the box is accessed through the top, which is mylar also,
We only have light in one box right now 3 100w equivalent CFLs and one hell of an exhaust (will support both sides.) We added a mylar reflector on top of the lights and put all 3 lights on top of the two plants to intensify the light. The temp is kind of high. It was around 81 yesterday but is was more like 90 today when I opened the box. I waited about an hour or so and the temp is still around 90 but I put my hand between the lights and the plants(about a inch between the two) and is seemed cool to me even with my hand touching the lights. We also added a small desk fan for movement.
The soil we are using is "clean" soil from our last grow that we steam pasteurized with the dried roots in it.
We are planing to fertilize these girls with bat guano (11-4-1) tea with superthrive while vegging and using beet molasses while flowering. Also, of course, we will add H2O2 to the soil drenches like we did last time throughout the whole life of these girls(fingers crossed.) Right now we are just giving them plain pH balanced( around 6.

Anyway they seem to be progressing very well under these conditions
