Look at the U.N. proposals to correct global warming and you'll see what I mean. Some advocate direct payments, filtered through the U.N., to 3rd world shitholes to mitigate the effects of global warming on their populations. Global justice.
I mentioned Kyoto which is a prime example. It placed considerable restrictions on the industrialized world, but largely ignored the rest of the world. India and China got a free pass while the U.S. would have to make enormous changes to our industry in order to comply. Costing billions upon billions of dollars which would directly affect our economy - badly.
