House Resolution 5843 is a bill that if past would take the federal government out of minor possesion of cannabis (less than 100 grams according to the bill.) Sure, it doesn't affect state law but it is a step (baby step) in the right direction. Contact your districts represenative and also members of both the judiciary ccommiittee (double up!) and the energy commitee via e-mail or better yet write them. If everyone on this site does and tells their friends to it will draw more attention to this much needed legislation. I don't know about you but I'm tired of paying for the prison industrial complex!
