The rise of Western Civilization came about after the Christian Reformation. It took centuries to realize the full benefits of the reformation. It was a slow process, but Christianity did reform itself.
Islam has had no reformation. Little has changed since Islam's Golden Age.
There's one big problem with having a Muslim president. We are at
WAR with Islam in a clash of civilizations begun in 1973 with the OPEC oil embargo.
