CustomHydro.. yes they do produce male and female flowers, unless of course it's a self pollinating hybrid plant.. which i'm sure have to be out there now for melons too. Now........ for the bad news....

My cuke is finally dead.. like I mean dead.. I'll post pics tomorrow. It's brown.. everywhere and very crispy. lol

I'm not entirely sure what happened. My largest female flower actually seemed to take to the pollination! It grew to app. 1.5cm long before the whole plant decided to shrivel and die.

I hate to say it guys, but this time it's for real . Now I'm debating whether to try something else in my dwc, or use my closet as storage again. lol

sorry to keep you in suspense for a while... but it's a sad day posting this.

I have learnt a TON about cucumbers and dwc's in general. It's such a great hobby.. .I just may have to try and grow something else.. hmm...
