You could have bought 3" net pots instead of the 5" ones. That would give you more room between plants and saved you a lot of money on Lava Rocks. Also, clean-up would have been much easier too. I've tried both and I'm sticking with the 3" pots. One 5" pot would have been large enough for the mother plant.
