I use side lighting. It's better than lighting from underneath. When I looked up the Surnie light it says 10 Watt? Is it 10w or 100 Watt? 1300 - 400 lumens, let's say 1000 lumens. That's only ~ 23 umols/s. You'd need 10x that to veg with. Here's a Company that sells under canopy lighting...
